If you can afford the Classic get it, you can always get the detachable tour pack kit to pop the TP off. I think you'll find the engine is blacked out on the Classic, where the Standard is grey
The badges are 59196-65 , I ordered mine (for my 06 FLHT) right from my local dealer for around $9.00 each. The Harley badges are chrome metal with stems on the back for mounting , so I cut them off and double sided taped (and carefully trimmed) to mount them on the 06.
I went with the Ultra because my wife liked it (really) and the lighting at night is much better from the rear with all the tour pack lights than the classic.
Having been rear ended twice , it was a selling point for me.
The wife likes the radio controls in the rear also.
Enjoyed both models ,I like the Ultra a bit better though.........

I have a 08 EGC and I found mine with Cruise, Security System and ABS Brakes, it also had the Riders Essential Kit installed. I guess I got Lucky to find it, I could not pass it up with the Options, I did not need the Ultra.
The easy way to describe it is: a Standard with a black motor, King Tourpack and a stereo. That's it. Still have my '95 model. Have lot's of buddies with Ultras and they only seem to use the cruise control but not much else. Glad I saved the money - added cruise myself.
