Thanks ahead of time. I'd like to see some pics of the RKC with luggage racks. I'm thinking about putting them on my Santa list. I also have the quick detach sissy bar already. Will its hardware work for the LR? Thanks again, 07.
Don't have pics but there is one that fits with a back rest. The rack would require it's own docking hardware. You can put the rack on with the back rest on or off. I leave the back rest off if on a trip with no passenger and load my gear forward using the rack and the pillion seat to keep the weight forward.
This is the Motherwells solo rack. I thought was of poor quality and useless - lightweight construction, mostly for appearance.
Here is the HD solo detachable rack. Very high quality, sturdy, will carry a good load.
Here is the HD detachable rack and passenger backrest combo with a Mustang solo seat with passenger pillion. Not a great pic, seems like it's the only one I have.
Finally, here is the HD two-up detachable luggage rack on my Road Glide. This rack will also fit your RKC, of course. Very sturdy, a bit on the large side, but very useful.
All nice pix, guys. Thanks. DanDil, nice choice in color scheme. I have the same and get LOTS of compliments. Also, can I use the hardware from the bitch-bar for the LR w/o the BB in place? Thanks
Be careful of the rack that attaches to the passenger backrest. It's got "V" logo thing on the side. When you open the saddlebags, the lid will contact the logo emblem and after time it will leave an imprint in the bag lid.
