Everyone I have heard that has the shark nose loves it. My only problem with it is that it looks too Goldwingish. Like the old vetters people would mount on the CB900's back in the day. I like the look of the Batwing.
It has to be the Bat Wing cause I've had four of them and I ain't NEVER, EVER been wrong yet, much less four times ! And ya can take that to the bank, if ya can find one that ya can trust.
The Road Glide handles better in the wind and give very good protection. I didn't get one because I can't get used to the fact that you can turn the handlebars and the front of the bike stays straight. Otherwise the RG is just drop dead gorgeous.
+1 my thoughts too. I hope to purchase one in my life time. Maybe a retirement present to myself. If it is all about touring like they say I should be happy. However I want the lowers and tour pack/speakers like I've seen other RG's with. Do they come with an intercom system?

If you're wanting TP, rear speakers, and intercom that come with the bike, better go for the Ultra. If not, of course you can buy all that!
