I have the air lite chaps on my road glide. They make excellent quality thick vinyl and go on and off in minutes with velcro. A very tight fit, and they are "model" specific. The best product of this type i've found both in quality and looks. Mesh vent for the motor too! Do a google search for air lite chaps.
I bought the HD bar and shield ones last month. I think they helped a lot.We went riding in north Ga. We were in weather in the 30's and without them I would not of rode well worth the money
The road spirit ones are vinyl I guess. They are not something one would 'install' on a nice bike, know what I mean? But, they are absolutely great for what they are! They look fine on a nice cool/cold day, let me tell you. Construction looks to be nice enough, too.
I recommend them! Quick on/off with Velcro and small enough for added rain protection, just like previously stated.
