Uh, I think I either screwed up or at the least redundant. I've got the heated clothes on the right and the battery on the left. There's a one size fits all?

Don't really think it matters. Mine in on the right side, as others have said, just the easiest to get to for my wall outlet. Just as long as it isn't touching anything it shouldn't, where it might melt, or rub the paint off...

I have mine on the left. The reason is because I also hard wired the same plug for my electric clothing. With it on the left, I can operate the thermostat with my left hand while still controlling the throttle and brake with my right. It's probably just a matter of preference, but this works for me...
