I just installed an 09 adj. rider backrest on my 08 RKC and it seems to wobble everywhich direction right where it is adjustable (up and down adjustability close to the pad).
Is this normal? Can you fix it where it doesnt wobble. I understand that when you start riding, it doesnt really move that much with your back resting against it, but I would rather have something a little more stable.

Thanks,

Mine does the same. Once pressure is against it, it's pretty stable.
Mine was quite loose and I took a zip strap, cut it off to be say 1 inch long and I slid it along the side of the backrest stem and it felped snug things up some. If you look thru the seat opening you will see how much room there is to wedge something in..May even have room for one on each side..

Ok, figured. Thats what ill do.
I would think theyd come with something a little more less wobbly than what theyve got.
