My 05 EGlide read about the same as Zubaugh's. So I bought the S&S calibrator from M&M Cycles and am now dead on. Easy install and adjustment. The sad thing is my wife's 03 FB is dead on and it says HD certified on the face whereas my SEEG does not.

I'm trying to install the S&S Speedometer Calibrator and can't seem to locate the connector between the Speedometer and the transmission sensor. Instructions say it's usually under the seat but I don't see it. I'm looking in the manuals but no luck so far.

Anyone know where this connector is physically locate on my 05 Ultra?

My Problem is far more serious, I built a bike from ground up, Lets call it a Road King Custom, All the parts98% of them where purchased on Ebay, and came from several parts of the country including England, The main wiring harness came from a 2004 Ultra,. but had no front harness for Controls and gauges, Using a Clymer repair manual, I wired it myself. Had everything working except speedo, Finally two days ago I got the speedo working, But not properly. at about 10 mph it says 60, and anything after about 20 mph, buried the needle , also noticed after going about 14 miles, (the odometer says I drove 235 miles) Anyone got any ideas ?

the older speedo's were 'hd certified' and were a lot more accurate. the newer ones are not certified, and can be as much as 10% off. however, federal law says that they can not read slower than actual speed, only faster.

you can recalibrate your newer one with the powervision as well.

Every one I have looked at were about 2 mph fast. You can adjust it with a Power Vision or TTS. The SE won't adjust the speedo. The default number in power vision is 2206 and needs to be 2262 to be correct. If you change to 30 tooth pulley it is 2390. this is on Touring models 2009 up.

Did the "shade tree" fix after going to the 68 tooth rear pulley. Determined the speedo error with GPS, then took the speedo apart and re-indexed the needle. It now "parks" at about 4 mph below zero when stopped but is within 1 mph at all speeds through 75 mph. Of course, the odometer racks up more miles this way, but oil changes a little closer together won't hurt anything. Wish I had heard about the power commander's ability to correct the speedo earlier, then I would have a correct needle AND odometer.

At 60 & above my speedo runs 3 miles faster than what my GPS shows.
