Default Nokia 500

Lots of guys are getting these cheap gps' for their bikes. Someone suggested ram mounts for mounting options but they do not show an option for nokia. Any of you have any ideas? Thx

RAM usually makes all kinds of generic adapters too. Go to www.cyclegadgets.com and look at the handle bar mounted units, then choose a generic top mounting plate that you can mount the GPS mount to. It's not at all hard, trust me. If you need help, send me a photo of the Nokia bracket and I can recommend the set up for you. I have two of the Nokias here as Christmas presents so neither will be opened until then.

Here's what you need:

Go to www.cyclegadgets.com

1 X RAM-SHORTARM 1-3/4" BLACK ($10.50)
1 x RAM-BAR ($13.00)
1 x RAM-STANDARD ($8.00)

Use the Ram BAR to mount around your handlebars

Then the SHORT ARM connects to the ram bar mount and the other end to the Ram standard mount

The STANDARD then gives you a 2-1/2" round flat surface that you can use to mount your Nokia mount to. It comes predrilled in several places but you can redrill it as necessary to match what you need. Lock-tite the small nuts and bolts or use nylon insert lock nuts. The onlt nuts n bolts you need are to mount the Nokia base to the Ram Standard.

Photo is of the Ram Standard, which will be upside down when you use it on your bike.

The center section of this photo shows the RAM-SHORT ARM:
