you need to pull the one thats in there now, and replace it with a 90 or 45 degree zerk, and it will take around a tube of grease, you will see it come out at the bottom. It's a standard zerk but, but most grease guns can't get on it, because it's stright

Yes, standard, unless they made a change. What's your plan? Being an 08, shouldn't need any. The other thing is, are you going to fill the neck, if not how do you get grease on the top bearing and lower? I filled a neck once and it was always a mess oozing out all the time. Not sure I'll ever do it again???

Here is a little trick to stop the mess.
Take a piece of small cord type rope (about a 1/4'" in dia.) wrap it around the lower bearing area and pull it tight and overlap the ends so it stays in place. Now fill the neck until you just see the grease start to appear at the top. The rope stops the grease from coming out the bottom while trying to fill the neck.
Remove the rope and your done with no mess.
I used a synthetic grease and 6 mo. later not a drip.
Hope this help you out!
