Just got back from the Toys for Tots run. It was a very good turnout, around 150 bikes of all brands. had a good run through and around town (nice to go through town without stopping). It was about 32 this morning, but by the time the run started at 1030, it was up to 60 and the sky was clear as a bell. I never got pass third gear, but it was still fun and we ended up filling two pickups full of toys and food. A very satisfying Saturday morning.
Oh yeah, I had a white haired women sitting next to me before we took off on a Honda Rebel. She had her Born to Ride Jacket on and Loud pipes save lives sticker She told me this was the third time she had been on the road with it, so being the gentleman I am, I said Please go ahead of me!
Good job, Gunner! As a Marine Corps vet, I really have a lot of respect for the Toys for Tots program - thanks for participating! Glad you had a great time!
