I tried this thread in the engine/intake/exhaust forum and didn't receive much response, so I thought I'd give it a try here. I just recieved my packages from Jaime at Fuel Moto. I will be installing Rush duals and 1.75 slipons, a PC III, and a SE ac on my '08 Ultra. I was wondering if anyone had any tips, or advice for these. From studying this forum I've learned to use SE exhaust gaskets, Permatex Ultra Copper between the pipes and slipons. I've read here to torque the exhaust flange nuts to 120 in/ lbs, the instructions with the pipes call for 18-22 ft/lbs?
In short I've been doing my homework here trying to learn as much as possible before I tackle these mods, but I'm still looking for anything that will make this an easier process.
Thanks for any and all help you can provide,
Can't help with the PCIII as I have no experience with them. However, the pipes and intake are simple nuts and bolts. Follow the instructions, make sure you have all the right/necessary tools before you start and you'll be fine.
BTW, 120 in/lb is 10 ft/lb. That means a difference between the two sets of numbers you have. Go with what your info sheets suggest.

10 Foot pounds sounds kind'a low for exhaust flange nuts. Best to check your service manual for the proper torque value there. (120 inch pounds = 10 foot pounds, a.k.a. 120 divided by 12 = 10)
Thanks for all your help. I went to the dealer and ordered a service manual, so that I could be sure about the torque specs. I went in asking for se exhaust gaskets because of what I had read on here. The guy behind the counter said the standard ones would be better because they were a little thicker. Should I keep the ones he sold me, or take them back and get the se gaskets?
All in all, it's a fairly simple install. Below I've pasted the write up I did when I installed mine. Note that mine was on an '07 so the position of the PCIII unit is a little bit different.
