Changing exhaust. Need help!
I posted this on the Tech Forum and it doesn't seem like there's much activity over there so I'll go with my first instinct and ask you guys:
I have an '07 Streetbob. I had the dealer install '08 catless Fatbob head pipes with SE slipons (with Big Sucker A/C). I also had Jamie at Fuel Moto program the PCIII and it runs great but I need to change it out to accomodate the Wyatt heel-toe shifter/floorboard kit.
I bought an exhaust from an '06 Streetbob and SE pro torque (or something like that) slipons and Jamie says that I don't need to change the map.
I'd like to do all the work myself but I'm wondering about 02 sensors and bunges...ok...this is where I need the help 'cause I don't know what I'm talking about.
Does the PC bypass the sensors? I believe there are plugs where they're suppose to go in the existing (Fatbob) exhaust. What should I know and what should I do other than wrench the '06 pipes on? Will the plugs from the Fatbob exhaust fit where the sensors go in the '06 pipes?
Sorry for my ignorance. I didn't think about this until recently and I'd really like to install the pipes and the Wyatt kit myself but don't want my bike out of commission because I can't figure this stuff out.
And apologies for the long explanation but didn't want to leave anything out.
