I wear boots, and tenny shoes, yes I said tenny shoes, I am old. But back to your question. Why I wear them. Because they are so damned comfortable

Tennis shoes don't git my goat as bad as seeing someone wearing flip flops! Of which I have seen on more than one occasion.

I always wear boots when I am riding but that is mainly out of habit as I ride back and forth to work and they are required when riding on any federal installation.

I wear tennies when I am coming back from the gym, because I am too lazy to change back into street cloth's. but I could really care less what people think when they see me in them. I dont need to look like a biker to be a biker.

I almost broke my ankle when my dumb--- stepped off a side walk. I guess I need to wear riding boots all the time. I wear sneakers, shorts and t-shirts when the weather permits. I feel the biggest risk taken is when you throw your leg over the seat. From that point on, you need to be careful and pray that it's not your day.

It's all good... Wear what you want.

Boots for long rides, any shoe for short trips, no flipflops!

We can all agree on one thing if you have ever worn tennis shoes while riding and I have twice. You are much likely to slip when putting feet down on the ground. Oil, wet road or what ever may cause slippage is dangerous with those tennis shoes on. The right boots can keep you upright better!

Because they want to.

Because they can.

Why do you ask?
