JUST GOT MY 05 EG CLASSIC BACK FROM THE DEALER,
I HAD THE STAGE II BIG BORE KIT INSTALLED, PISTONS, SE-203 CAMS, NEW AC, HAD THE HEADS AND CYLANDERS DIAMOND CUT
HAD THE STAGE II FLASH DONE, BUT I HAVE A POWER COMMANDER, WHICH I HAVE NOT REINSTALLED YET.
( AVOIDING DEALER GREIF ) I'LL REINSTALL IT AS SOON AS I GET A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES ON HER.
I ALSO HAVE SE-II SLIPON MUFFLERS WITH THE BILLIT TIPS.
TODAY (SUNDAY ) WAS MY FIRST CHANCE TO PUT SOME MILES ON, APROX 100,
AFTER I GOT BACK HOME I NOTICED THE END OF THE MUFFLERS HAD A LOT OF BLACK SOOT ON THEM,
IT WAS NOT THERE BEFORE I LEFT, BECAUSE I CLEANED THE BIKE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
I ALSO HAD A BUDDY FOLLOWING ME AND HE NOTICED NOTHING ABNORMAL.
QUESTION? CAN IT BE RUNNING TO RICH? IS THIS POSSIBLE?
I WAS SUPRISED AT HOW MUCH OF A POWER INCREASE I HAD, SEAT OF THE PANTS.
I HAVENT DYNO'D IT YET, BUT I WILL AS SOON AS I CAN.
I have the same setup on my bike with a new PCIII added this weekend. (Original setup had the HD download) Had the PCIII installed and dyno performed by Sabin Performance in Dallas. The HP was at 79 and Torque at 90. What really amazed me was the increase in torque in the low and mid range once the PCIII was tuned in.
I just had my 2000 RG dino friday 95 cc with the same set up you have other then the exhust., im not very happy Im shure it's running rich . Most of the popping is gone but it starts loading up and feels like it could die . Now it just lets out a big boom some times. I looked on line the map they gave me was coustom way off from the dvd rom I got. The plugs have black now and befor they where white. It is running alot strounger.
