Good to know. That just made it easy for me to decide.

I have a set of the HD gaunlet gloves in conjunction with them I use a pair of mechanical rubber gloves as a liner. The surgical rubber gloves type, tight to the finger and keeps the fingers warm.

I understand that Gerbings will honor the lifetime electrical warranty on HD gloves since they manufacture them. Gerbings gloves may be cheaper, however, although FWIW the HD single controller is actually less expensive and you get the optional leather pouch in the package. You don't with the Gerbings controller, which is $10 extra IIRC. Not sure about the pricing for the dual-controller. Be also advised that MSRP on the single controller is $60 while Zanotti's lists it for $63 (reverse discount) because of their cost-plus pricing policy and a low markup on that item. So, shop around.

I have the HD gloves that have a thin air cushion around the hand. They are really comfortable, haven't had any cold problems, but then again when it is cold in Canada you're not riding your bike.

Gerbrings WILL cover the HD gloves eletrical issues for life as well. HD just likes to turn their back on you after a year.

I also have the HD Windshielder Guantlet gloves and for short to medium rides with temps down to about 40 they work fine. For long rides in the low 40's or any rides in the 30's, it is hard to beat the Gerbing gloves. I have an old pair but the G3's are really nice.
