I am running out of things to do with my FLHTC. HD is not helping...they are not making new things for 07 bikes. it appears I am about done. This is like withdrawal. I need help.
For such problems... I always recommend a good road trip....... nothing like getting on your bike, and stopping every couple of hours, and re-filling the gas tank... if you do that enough, you'll soon be buying oil, filters, spark plugs and the such.... perhaps by that time, the chrome parts will be available, otherwise, buy some good heated gear, and ride all winter...

Unions have killed the American auto industry.
Sorry Dude, Can't even come close to agreeing with this one. I have been on both sides of the fence. Watched a Company go down the tubes with corperate Greed while the UAW was saying (Show us your books, and we will see what we can cut to help. If that means we make conessions and you have to give up your multi million dollar Upper crust bonuses, so be it.) Watched the stamping plant in Comstock Michigan go out, I wonder how many of those union employees are whining that they run out of Bling to put on their bikes? Now we have Socialized Banking, socialized Auto manufacturing and they are a good thing but if you call for socialized Medicine you are a communist! Sorry dude, can't feel sorry for your Bling shortness when people are without jobs because of your corporate Greed!

This is moving away from the intention of the original post but I would like clarify some things about the unions. First of all, the unions made the middle class during the evolution of the industrial age. Mosca, who was an early sociologist stated in the 1800's that society would be ruled by a numerical minority of elites which today are the owners of the major corporations of America and other familiys of long standing wealth. They control the means of production and means of information disimination. Politicians are puppets to their influence and clout. By the nature of man, they are self serving and view the working class as a disposible enity. Statistics prove that the majority of the 33 plus trillion dollars of Americas wealth is owned by a very small number of the total population by comparison. Unions work for the good of the working Americans to have a liveable wage and benefits like retirement, vacations, health care and just a fraction of the whole that the power elite have for themselves. The unions challenge that power base so they are characterized in a negative light by the wealthy owned media. The government is rewarding poor performance by the power elite and the working class is the group that will take the hit. The power elite are so well insulated that they are not affected by the struggles of the working class and economy. Marx predicted an eventual revolution between these groups.
Since both grpups are so feckless and screwed up I dont see much of a revolution happening, BTW Marx has been discredited.

Wow, Mighty powerful stuff their jBob. I Bow to your superior analitical script and if I might add. Unions help raise the prevailing wage in the reigion by making companies compete for the quality workforce. Even though your company may not be Union it makes the wages around that area higher to compete with the Union wages and benefits. Higher pay for the middle class means more money spent in the economy.
Hey Russ, something you can do to increase hp,and pull is take your spark plug's check the gap, mark your plug opposite from the gap, then when you put them back in turn your gap directly to your valve's,can tell the difference right away.If you haven't looked into big city thunder, they have a lollipop, restrictor that will give you much more pulling torque, and they are not that expensive, check it out. Both do great on my 2001 FLHT.
