when we rode back from s.d., i had this, and my buddy had the kruzer kaddy. he had more problems with his, and mine worked great. and for 1/2 the cost.
i use the Kruzer Kaddy also, however they have a nasty habit of allowing the wind to turn it, possibly dumping the cup/tumbler on your tank. I modified mine by using a chrome bolt to firmly attached the cup holder to the bar bracket, preventing it from turning. got the tumbler from Cabelas, and it works great for coffee on the road, or the Kaddy can be used to hold a can or bottle of coke.
+1, if you don't lock the kruzerkaddy it's got a tendency to roll, especially with a tall drink.

buddy got one (dont have the link) it was a kit with hindged door for left side lower cup holder hangs from it came with large coffe mug and water bottle they sat in the holder and can be turned a 1/4 turn to lock em in works real nice and keeps the bars kleen
