I hope this Forum is a bit more friendly than some of the other forums i have visited. So anywho forgive me if this has already been asked and yes i have searched BUT no luck. Has anyone put a small set of apes on their roadglide? I have seen some and some look really good and others look .... well not so good. Any help would be appreciated. Pics too if you have any. Thanks again
You could go to the Road Glide picture thread and look through there to see the different bar options. And I'm sure you will get some replies here from the guys with apes. I have a set of wide glide bars on mine and I know others have meathooks and some with pretty tall apes. The info will come
Thanks, I have been riding a custom chopper and decided that i have let it beat me up enough. After taking my glide out i ask my self, why in the world did i wait so long! This thing rides like a caddy! Not to mention my wife thanks me every outing!
sorry no pics yet,it started snowing the night i picked the bike up...had wild 1 chubbies w0515 , 10'' mini apes installed. they really look nice and seem like they will be alot more comfortable for me.
Just my opinion but thats what you're asking. Apes look bad on a tourer. They get your hands to where thay are not protected and also it seems like apes would not be good for distance as your blood would leave your hands.

well I have first hand experience on this. My apes are right at shoulder height and 400+ mile days are not a problem for me whatsoever. I only have about 6km miles on my apes so far but I definitely won't be going back to the stockers. As far as looks that is open to a persons opinion.
