Default Stage 1 download..do i need it?

so i'm getting an 09 bike soon (not sure what yet) either a SG or EG...do i really need to get a S1 download if i'm planning on getting a PC5 anyway?...i wouldn't think so but thought i'd ask the experts

You will not need the Stage 1 download for any reason if you are planning on installing a PC V (or other tuner for that matter)

It depends on how long after you put the breathing parts on you plan to use the bike before you put the PC5 into service. If you're doing it all at once then you don't need the download. If you're piecemealing it, I'd do the download and tune around it later.
