I have ridden RK, SG, and Ultra's - The Street Glide was one of the funnest bikes but the Ultra... A fantastic Machine! Wouldn't want any other bike period!
If your not tradeing - sell bike local - you could search for the model you want anywhere in the US... I did that and got the bike of my dreams and the best price at Hale's HD in Mansfield Ohio. I was a little nervous buying a bike unseen but they gave me a good price and threw in some extras too. The sales rep I spoke with was JC. He found a reasonable shipping company (Allied/Federal - Costs about $675 to ship from Ohio to Texas). If you want to give them a try, their contact info is: Jeff (J.C.) There was a post a couple weeks ago on how to buy a bike. He had some good ideas in there. You should be able to get it below MSRP if they really want to move the bike.
I traded in my '07 SG for an '09 Ultra (note the colors ). I got $16.5k trade-in on the SG and paid MSRP, no freight or prep on the Ultra. I probably could have done better, but I didn't want to push my luck.
