Hey folks, some of you ask me to keep you posted on my crash, i just got off of the phone with the insurance people the estimate on my ultra is $6000 not to bad but it will be about 3to4 months before i can get it back though. im doing ok still very sore but time will heal all just wanted to let you all knw and thinks for the toughts and prayers. Hockey - Thanks for the update. Sounds like the damage wasn't too bad; why is it going to be 3-4 months before you get the bike back?
all of the parts that are painted takes 6 to 8 weeks to get from H-D because they paint them in batches plus the fact that H-D is closing down until after xmas ill keep you all posted..

Good to hear you're coming around. I would expect you to be sore for a while. Put on a sturgis T and imagine you just did the Miami to SD run in record time.
Hope the estimate on time down for the bike shortens up for you.
Not familiar with what happened, but if it wasnt' your fault, and if the other guy's insurance is paying for it, then shouldnt' they give you a comparable rental until your's is fixed? Granted, it wouldn't be YOUR bike, but at least it'd be bike.
