Default EZ Up center stand

I ordered one 3 days ago and it arrived today! The materials look to be excellent quality, as it the fit and finish. The install took an entire 45 seconds. There are 2 ways to use the stand, while still sitting on the bike and while standing at it's side. I tried several times to operate it from the seat and was unsuccessful. Operation while standing at it's side is simple. The bike is very stable on the stand. Granted, my bike sits high and is very heavy, but I am a big guy 6' 2" and 260# and I thought it would go right up while seated, I was wrong (or possibly a bit mildly retarded), but I am very pleased with the stand and highly recommend it.

Mine arrived yesterday, very fast shipping. Looks like a good, quality piece. I can't put it on yet because my wheels are off the bike though.

And we have a new record! 45 seconds. First we had 20 minutes, then 10, then 5, 4, and even 3. Now we have less than a minute! Damn, I thought i was doing good at 5 minutes....

Yes it will go up with you sitting on it. Mine is not the ez-up but same thing. I have tested the ez-up on a ultra and can do it sitting on the bike

I only put mine up while being on the bike. As a precaution, I always put the kickstand out - just in case. Don't ask me how I know. If you take your weight off of the seat and put your left foot on the chrome lever and push down with your left leg, (bike in neutral or clutch in, motor off), the bike just rolls back onto the stand. If you are pulling the bike back by the handlebars, you are doing it wrong. Always park with the front tire "up".

Keep working at it you will get it. Im not a big guy, 5'9" 185, and I can get the 09 up on it from the seat. Bike is not lowered either. I find it easier from the seat actually. I dont even us the side stand as a safety, just push slowly till you feel both feet on the ground, then put your weight on it. GO FOR IT

These guys have it right. The key while sitting on the bike is to push down on the stand lever rather than pulling back on the handle bars. Let the stand do all the work.
