I'm fairly computer literate by I ain't on Facebook. As I understand it, Facebook is a vehicle to express yourself and network with others - that also describes the Harley Street Glide that I have... ;-)
I started a face book because my 13 year old wanted one and the condition was that I would set one up so I can watch over him (need to be real careful with kids and the internet these days). Low and Behold with in a month or so I was talking with people I have have not spoken with in over 15 years, had dinner with an old friend a few weeks back and make plans for drinks with a friend from High School I lost touch with and have not seen in over 20 years. It is actually pretty cool.
I've got a MySpace page (was going to use it for music back when I was still writing and recording), but never really did a whole lot with it. Never even been on/looked at facebook. I'm a bit of a geek (hey, software developers tend to be by virtue of their environment =), but I have no need for social networking since my friends and family are all local. If we move up to the NE like we think we might be sometime in the next year there may be a need for something like that, but for now....nah.
I am on. I probably have 25 HD Dealers all over the world that are on my friends list. And some Hd owners I never met just because of our association w/ HD.
It is a great tool to keep in touch w/ your children, nieces and nephews when they are far from home.
