Default HID Headlight - Matching LED for Passing Lights

I just bought 2 of these from SuperbrightLeds.com and they are 1 watt and rated at 8000k, but I think they will also match the 6000k. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...gi?product=CAR

Finally! Matching lights!

How much of a beam do they output compared to filament bulbs you have removed at night and in the daylight?

Have also been thinking of getting them!

They're a great match color wise. A buddy of mine has them on his Dodge Magnum (the WHP9s) and they look great. He followed me out of the parking lot at work one nite and I couldn't help notice how good they looked. Not as much light as a 55 watt halogen but with the main beam an HID you don't really need the extra light down the road. Its more side to side coverage. The only LED bulbs that come close to the side to side coverage was from Kurykyn. And they don't make them any more. I got one of the last sets. They were made for them by Philips I think and are 15 watts. My lo beam is 4500k and I think the LEDs are more 5 or 6k

I actually bought these for my brother in law for Christmas. I spend the real money on me, hehe. I put a 8000k HID light on his '05 Ultra last year and we've been looking for bulbs to match for the passing lights. So, I will be the one to put these led's on for him, but after Christmas. He doesn't need any more light because of the HID but just wanted something for the passing lights because he like having everything on and matching. I will post pics and comments after installing them. I got the H3-WHP - single led for him.

Interesting. I didn't know there were LED replacements for halogen bulbs. I have read that they were coming. I'm real curious to see the real light output.
