Default Is this illegal?

I would like to get rid of rear turn singles and go with billet boys break light/turn single combo. Will I get a ticket for this?

I'd check with your state laws and requirements. Maybe call your local DMV or highway patrol?

The turn single is required by law. But what I am trying to ask is the billet boys break light/turn combo is ok. To me, it sounds like if you have a turn single no matter what it is it is ok. It would be nice to get ride of my stock turn single for a cleaner look.

Well in CA I believe they are supposed to be 12" off the ground and 9" apart. I don't know where you live...

While calling the DMV, State Police, Local Police, Sheriff, etc. might be good advice, sadly it's often not the case. Just recently had a situation where the lad became old enough by State Code to graduate from the booster seat. Calls to the various agencies by his mother resulted in "he's not 80 lb. so he's still required to use it." The law says nothing about weight unless it's that the child is too big/heavy for the booster. I'm anxiously awaiting a ticket on that one. I'll take the time to fight a ticket written against legislation that doesn't exist any day.

If you're in CA, I'd browse around at ca.gov for the real information you're looking for and go by that.
