Default Fender fitment

Will a 2007 rear fender fit on 2001 bike? I want to install the SG rear ground effects on my 2001 roadglide but I have to get a new fender to do it because of the fender tip trim on the '01.

Probably. I did the same swap with my '04 EG. FWIW, the part no. for a primered rear fender for my bike is 59579-01A. And replacing the fender on my bike with an '06 SG fender was a simple swap. You could check the part no. for your RG fender and compare it to the above--if it's the same you should be good to go.

Good luck with your project.

if it's any help, the part number for a primed rear fender for an 07 road glide is 58702-06, 07 street glide is 59731-06.

that doesn't mean it won't fit though.
