Okay,
But how would these work with an Ultra?
My problem is when my boots are forward they hit the lower fairing.
Is it possible to move the lower fairing forward without interfering with the front wheel?
There was a post here somewhere in the last week or so where another member was looking to take his set off as he was selling his bike and didn't have the OEM mounts. Maybe you can look back and find the post and work out a deal with swapping your OEM with his extended brackets.
Yep, you are correct. I overlooked the year. I have the one's from Wild Bills on my 08. With a 36" inseam, the extra legroom is really nice. Hopefully you will find an solution.
Extended Reach Rider Footboard Kit
This kit extends the rider footboard forward of the stock location, providing the tall rider a comfortable riding position. The kit includes left and right footboard pans, designed to accept traditional D-shaped Original Equipment or accessory rider footboard inserts. 50409-04
We are only about 6 months out on the kit for the 2009 models, they changed the frames so drastically we have to sit down and start from scratch, NOTHING that fits the 2008 models will fit the 2009 models except the floorboards themselves... we have approx. 200 sets in stock for up to 2008 models... I will post when we get the new ones worked out and tested.
Most people find that when they move the floorboards out to the side with our extensions, they no longer need to move them forward. It creates a lot more space for your feet.
