Can somebody please tell me why my stock 700 mile road glide stalls at least once a day.
Mostly when cold, but sometimes when thoroughly warmed up. Mostly while stopped at red lights but sometimes when decelerating. I waited to get a late build date with the new injectors. When it stalls it seems to be backfiring out of the throtle body-air cleaner. Please help, I'm nervous about riding this thing cause you never know when it's coming.
Thanks,
Gary D.
Look at the injectors and make sure you have the correct injectors. Also, what kind of flash is on your ECM? Any mods to the AC or pipes? The cough you're describing sounds like the lean condition. Talk to your dealer and make sure he knows it is happening and is a safety issue!!!!!
I made sure it had the 25 degree injectors. I looked myself. It came this way from the factory. No mods on the bike, completely stock. How can it stall even with these injectors?
Thank the EPA[:@]
Bike has to be lean out the door to make the Fed's happy! Buy a SERT or PCIII will probably be your best move and easiest. That or take it back to the dealer and complain, complain, complain..........
