Unhappy Engine light comes on while accelerating

Engine light comes on when I roll on throttle, happens at about 2500 rpm and up. Anyone have any ideas on what would be causing this?? Seems to come and go. Checked for codes but did not show any. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks and Merry Christmas To All..

First, check your plug wires. I had one loose and did the samething. Hope that is it for you too.

If intermittent would check close for any wires that might be loose .. Whatever it is evidently is not shutting you down anyway.. Good Luck here..

Obviously, not twisting the throttle far enough... you need to give her a lot more throttle! lol

Had a similar problem, discovered loose wire connection @ IAT Sensor. Once repaired problem went away.
