Looks wise, I really do like both looks. I added the passing lamps for pure safety reasons. I also got the newer custom bracket which is more stylish than the standard 3 lamp set-up. No regrets whatsoever.
I installed the the lights on my '06 RK Custom, but did not move the turn signals.
Mostly for the reasons listed above:
Safety,
Gives that switch something to do,
and it includes the mounting hardware for a windshield.
and yes, I mounted a windshield for highway riding.
All that said...I like the look of the single lamp better.
