Those things are very nice but nearly $1000.00 is a bit over the top right now. Perhaps one day the dried condensation residue in my guages will get bad enough that I have no choice LOL.
I'm running their dresser kit and love them. Install was easy, auto dims when it gets dark and allows adjustment of the speedo. Also lets you know what gear you are in and when your service is due.
That is real hot looking exspecially with the Sony head unit (what model is that) also was the install really plug and play?
I also have the dakota digital guages...dresser set. I had them set to my original miles. Instead of the oil pressure guage I had Dakota substitute the air pressure guage for my Arnott air ride. Love the guages...would love to add the sony radio for an all blue dash...someday..Here's a pic with the original radio...
I asked the same question about recalibration. I contacted the manufacturer and was told they will recalibrate to add your current mileage ridden at the factory before sending them out. I am not sure the dealer can perform this function.
I am running the Dakota Digital Gauges and love them. I get compliments on them every where I go. Only problem I have had is... Some times the Speedometer will not work at start up and I have to stop and turn the bike off and back on for it to reset. This doesn't happen, often, but it does happen every now and then. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?
The speedo lights come on, but the mph stays at zero when I'm moving.

I haven't had any issues with mine.
I will say the fuel gauge is pretty acurate too. Last summer I rode thru Chicago and needed to stop. When the gauge gets to 10% or less it begins to flash. I was down to 2% before a station was available. Ended up putting just over 5 gallons of gas and was thankful for not running out.

*NOBODY* but Dakota Digital can do it, according to the tech I corresponded with. You can find the "Dresser Gauge Kit" at better prices elsewhere, but I was told no one else can set the odometer to a specified mileage except DD.
