Default How So 96 ftpd

So I was looking on the official Harley site tonight and noticed the 09 Harley has 96 foot pounds torque at 2600 rpm's . My question is this, is this true ? and how are they getting those numbers ? Is that at the rear wheel ? what did they do to the engine to get that ? With factory exhaust !

We tuned an 09 FatBob last night with nothing but Rush slip-on's and an HD Heavy Breather. The motor was BONE STOCK & had about 400 miles on it when we got to the dyno shop.

I believe it made 78/104.

I gotta tell ya, the gearing in the Dyna's (+ being LIGHT) make them really quick!

Dyna's are (and always have been) geared different than other models ~ because they are so much lighter.

Gearing, as in the primary & secondary drive ratios.
