I am also looking at the Road king 09 FLHR bar replacement, In running are the 8.5 apes with a straighter wrist angle and more reach back. and the Mentele. I would love to see a bike with them on Seattle area.
Aleslinger, you stated they may have new bars coming? where did you get info, i would like to research that more.
Rizn and Ridn again.
The local HD Dealer told gave me that info. My stock RD bars are out too far and I need about 2 inches of pull back. I will be getting something new just not sure what, but I can wait for the new gear from HD. If they don't have anything I want no big deal, I will most likely get an ErgoBar from Klock Werks.
Roaddog , I have a set of klockwerks on my 09 streetglide. I like the bars and they fit properly and look great. Ill try to post a photo asap. If you are interested a buddy of mine has a new set in box .

Could not view your pics. I have put them on my king and love them. Have done several 400 to 600 miles trips back to back and no more lower back problem. I have attached picture.
Roaddog - I am searching for new handlebars for my 2006 RK Custom. One of the "finalists" is the King Mentele bar. From the pics of your bike, I wasn't sure if you put on the Mentele or the King Mentele. Which one did you choose and would you still recommend them?
