I'm buying a bike that has a 95" Stg II upgrade. It's got the 203 cams in it. I don't know what it has for trq/hp but I know I'll want more.
Thinking of doing a set of R&R Heads and probably a 585 gear drive cam in it. What would you recommend, I'm thinking of leaving the pistons/jugs alone.
Turbo38sfi? You must be a fan of the 86-87 Buick GNs, T-Rs and GNX's. I had several, including a twin turbo Stage II motor in a GNX. I just recently sold my other GNX to a good friend. Great cars for the times, but now I have a turbocharged 2006 GTO.
Yep...over the past 15 years I've had over 20 turbo Buicks and a 6k mile 89 TTA. Never had the GNX...passed on one when they were about 25k and affordable..forget it now!
I've got an original 10k mile 87 Limited right now. Alky injection, 28lbs of boost on 93 octane and have run 11.7@117...with a full tank of fuel and 4000lbs
What kind of bike is this going into? A 585 is typically more of a top end cam and you will loose a bunch of rideability under normal riding. Unless this is a bar hopper and not spending much time under 3000 rpms, go for it!

It's a RG. I have to disagree. I had this came in my GMR 98" motor in my SG and there was no rideability loss at all. What type of loss are you suggesting?
