I strap my EGC with six tiedowns, Two through the front down tubesup by the tripple trees and two attached to the crashbars both sets pulling the bike slightly forward and another set around the passenger floorboard brackets slightly pulling the bike rearwards. Then I snug all tiedowns. Make sure the tiedown straps do not rub anywhere on the bike. Also do a search here and you can find photos of others who have done it. If you use a wheel chock have all the tiedowns pull the bike forward if without a wheel chock have the front tiedowns pull forward and the rear tiedowns pulling backwards.

I do it this way when I have had to bring my scoot in for service. ALL strap pressure pulling forward. If any strap fails, pressure is still pulling forward. I don't compress my front forks with the way the straps are pictured.

has any body seen this rig that bolts to your trailer and another piece bolts on your bike and stick a pin through them both to secure your bike to the trailer?
