I torqued mine to 35 fts lbs top and bottom per the installion sheet that came with the lowering kit - mine is Los Angles Choppers lowering kit (bought it at J&P) installed it on my 2007 RK.
I lowered mine for the style/look (my legs are plenty long enough). Why did you decide to lower yours?
You probably have the air shocks on your RG. The lowering kit may cause additional wear on the shocks. I installed a lowering kit on mine and not long after, the shocks wouldn't hold air. I replaced them with the progressive 440s and removed the lowering kit. Anyway, torque would be about 35ftlbs top and bottom.
