Default 09 Electra Glide Price Check

I live in MI and was quoted a price of 18,000 OTD for a Black Denim Electra Glide Standard. That is the best I have found around hear so far. Is that a good price or should I keep looking?

Can only say got a New left over 08 EGS for 15,956 Out the Door.. If a brand new 09 would say not a bad deal but don't mean can't debate on it a little more ... And can't get the price down any see if can't get some other options like 1,000 worth of In store Buys, 1K Service etc... I got Lowering it to SG height and 1K Service thrown in with the price... Really wanted a 09 Street Glide but for 4 Grand less couldn't pass it up

I think you can do a little better.that being said at the end of the day you need to figure out what number you will not be disgusted with because I don't think you are ever going to be 100% happy with the price. After all it is a luxury item and we arent buyin g them to be frugal.

This is a quote I got without even visiting the dealer.

Hi Michael!

We received your email about the black denim FLHT, and we appreciate your inquiry! We do not currently have that motorcycle in stock, but we can order it for as early as February. All you need is $500 down and you don't have to pay for it until it gets here! The final price on a 2009 Black Denim FLHT with no options would be $17,949.00 Out The Door.
If you wanted any options such as Security ($345), Cruise ($270), Smooth Spoke Wheels ($450), or ABS ($795), these can be added when ordering a bike right at the factory.

I hope that this information is helpful, and if you have any other questions then please don't hesitate to contact me!

I just wanted to check in with you, and see if you were still interested in the 2009 Black Denim FLHT. We would be able to give you a $500 gift card with the purchase. We can take a deposit and order the bike exactly how you want it. I hope there is something we can do for you. Let us know if we can, and have a Happy New Year!!

I ended up buying a streetglide from a different dealer. I didnt get the giftcard but i did get msrp free security and no freight/assmbly.

I would have to go look up the MSRP to answer more accurately. It would be helpful if guys would state the MSRP when looking for help. I'll guess MSRP is around 17000, so out the door 18000 sounds pretty good. Get cruise control and radio if you can swing it.

MSRP for black denim is $ 17449. The way the economy is , I'd check around , but I dont think thats a bad price. Besides ; the girls there are hot , and it's close to home .
I think Dave the owner has pretty deep pockets , so they'll probably make it thru this recession , unlike some other dealers.

That's not a terrible deal, and it's close to home. There are better deals out there, but sometimes close is better for support and peace of mind.

Cool

Well my Girlfriend bought me a 09 Black Denim EG today!

Here is the deal she got!

Price of bike: $16,981.13
Sales Tax: $1,018.87
Lic & Title Fee: $40.00
Total Bike: $18,041.00
Additional HD Accessories: $2,000.00

Total: $20,041.00

She probably could have done better if we would have drove hundreds of miles away but this was close and customer service is good. The bike should be in by next Thursday and then we will start blacking it out.
