most times I see are low 14s for a stock bagger. stage 1 will probably cut a few 10ths, depends on the rider. Harleys are very competitive with the japanese air cooled V twins of similar size. Thats why the japanese started going crazy with displacement, kind of a "mines bigger than yours" ***** envy thing I guess. I wouldn't mind another 30 or so hp on my bike though.

Just seems strange thinking bout baggers and drag strips. Like a ninja rider on a crotch rocket forum asking how much camping equiptment you can load on a rice rocket. Just my .02
I took mine down to a Friday night street race series here in MD and all night long I was harassed by the crotch rocket guys! Comments like... "Dont forget to turn your A/C off! ...or Does that thing come with a TV?"
I just pressed on, clicked off some mid 12 second runs, switched on the blue bottle, went a few more passes (faster)... then made my way back to the pits. A few minutes later there were hoards of crotch rocket guys around my bike praising it for running so well. I laughed and reminded them that it aint to bad for leaving the A/C on while watching TV tripping the lights at the end of the 1320ft mark!
I even have a few pics in my gallery and at my Flickr site, check them out.
That's my source for quarter mile times too - and those are the same numbers I was able to dig up. Too bad they don't test Harleys a little more regularly. Not the most impressive numbers, but they'll still beat most production cars out there.
That's changing.
Cycle World, which I respect the most, tested the '08 RKC and the '08 RG this year; both dynoing at 68-70hp at the wheel and pulling high 13's and low 90's traps in the quarter. Anything in the 13's is still quick, but what's crap is the trap speed - even a new V6 camry grocery getter can touch 100mph in the quarter. In other words, on a roll, many a family sedan will pull away from our Harleys.

You might try Drag Times. They keep some posted Harley times.
I ran a best of 9.59 @ 149 MPH on our 08 Suzuki Hayabusa. It is completely stock with a Yoshimura full system, BMC filter, Power Commander III USB and tuning. Stock wheelbase. Ok, so its not a Harley but thought I would post anyway. I also won the street class at the Doc's Harley Davidson Motorcycle event at WIR last august on this bike.
