Don't have any info on ness mirrors, but I just put a set of HD fairing mount mirrors on my ultra. Best move yet. I love them! If you do buy HD, make sure you get the new addition of them. I got a set and they were the old mount and I had a slight vibration on my left mirror. I took them back and picked up a new set at another dealer. They are outstanding. New addition has only one bolt with a pin to hold it in place and the old had 3 little bolts to hold it on. good luck, Steve
Friends of mine have 06 Street Glides and mounted the Ness Bagger mirrors; they also put tweeter speakers where the HD fairing mount mirrors would have gone. It's a very neat looking set-up.
Unfortunately, the Ness Bagger mirrors are a discontinued item; you can still find them at some outlets, but they are no longer offered by Ness according to my friends who are in the business.
I used the HD fairing mount mirrors on my 04 EG and am very pleased with them.

New HD fairing mount? I have some and I love them but there is a bit of vibration. Whats the deal with the new ones? Will they cover up the holes from the old style?

How can you tell if they are the old or newer versions from outside the box?
The way you can tell the new style mirrors is at the end of the part # you will see a letter B. This is the new model. If it has an A letter it's the old one's. My inner fairing was drilled out to fit the old mirror mounts with the 3 bolts. I used the center hole and the hole at about 5 oclock if you are looking from the front of the bike on the inner fairing, Just need to drill out these 2 hole's alittle bit and the new mount will cover all the old hole's up. This worked great for me. Vibration is gone. The new mirror's give you a spec to tighten to. The old one's told you to tighten until 1 tread show's. That's a little hard to tell I think. Good luck if you try it. Steve
