Default Fairing mount mirrors

If you have fairing mount mirrors do you like or dislike them? I would like to hear the pro's and con's before I go drilling holes in plastic.

I recently installed them on my Ultra. At first I didn't like them. I'm still getting used to them, but they are growing on me. The biggest thing to get used to for me is that they are. "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" type. I had become really used to the regular mirrors that show everything closer. I can't say that I LOVE them, but if I had it to do over again, I probably would still put them on.

I can say that I love mine! Better looking and better performing IMO. Once they're adjusted right life is good!

I prefer them over the handlebar mirrors. They have a better field of vision IMO, and they look cleaner on the bike.

I would do it all over again. These worked great for me. I have broad shoulder and it was hard to see in the stock mirrors. These were easy to install too.

Big thumbs up to the fairing mounted mirrors. You can see great and they are very stable at highway speed. Add a cleaner look to the front end.

I like the fairing mount mirrors better for the look and the function aspect, word of caution. there is a recall on a certian model. buy new and ask your dealer

I've had mine for a couple of years now and I think they look better and work better than the stock. Not hard to install (thanks to those little templates they furnish). Of course, after you drill through the backside of your batwing, you're stuck with these unless you like looking at those little holes...

I bought my bike with them on. The previous owner said he had wide shoulders and these fairing mounted mirrors worked better. I also heard that these vibrate less than the handle bar mounted type. I feel it gives the bike a cleaner look.
