The HD Forum should come up with a "rating system" that is public here so we can all see and rate these so called "sponsors" as we do business with them. Criteria should include things like PRICE, and Customer Service to name a few. Not all have great prices and you will be wise to shop around by googling any item you are looking for. There are some "stand out" sponsors here (such as Wheeldock to name but one) but not all will measure up (if you shop, you will see.)
I agree, and think something along the lines of Resellerratings.com should be set up. Enter their site, then click on "Store Ratings" in the menu bar. That would be a great feature, and if pressured by sponsors could reply that the ratings are strictly a product of member feedback, not the opinion of the forum management. I also think they should have some means of procedure for weeding out bad sponsors, even if it affects revenues.
I thought about them! Glad it was just a thought!! I went with Custom-engraving-ltd.com who is a sponsor but not on the previous list and could not be happier with product and service!!!
Ronjo...
Haven't done business with them & won't. H-D Forums - are ya gettin' any of this????
We are getting all of this. As of yet, no one has followed the forum rules as far as Sponsor Complaints is concerned. I have not gotten one pm or complaint about this so called sponsor. I can't find anywhere where it says they are a sponsor. They may have been at one time but I don't handle the forum sponsorship.
14. Do not bash our Sponsors on the open forum. Remember this is a free forum and they pay the bills. Have the decency to contact them by pm, email or telephone if you have a problem. You can also contact Admin here if you feel that one of our sponsors is out of line.
