Default cam change

So how much of a change from stock is needed to get my Harley to go "potato potato"? I miss that. That is the only thing that makes me miss my Lowrider.

Lose the injection and slap on a carb. Cut the idle. Boom ding...there you go.......

It's nothing that a lot of money and effort can't fix.

If ya really want potato-potato, a carb'd EVO would be your best bet.

Find an '06 carbed Touring bike. Even a non-motorhead, tin ear guy like me can listen to Harleys at idle and tell if it's carbed or injected.

I have to agree with the rest. Newer FI bikes need around 1000 RPM to run properly. My old EVO was around there to. I had a nice cam in it it did not potatoe-potatoe because I did not want to runin my new engine. Just a thought get a shovel, best bet.

Good one! No, cause I know that "Idaho", but I know that fuel injection is only a minor part of my idle sound. I guess what I'm wanting is the hot-rod sound, and I know that the fuel injection crap is a small hurdle. I was hopin that some of the guys here had already done the cam swap and they now have a "rumpity rump" idle. With that being said, any good answers out there?
