The hardest part of the install for me was that I couldn't have the bike on a lift to do it, so I had to lay on the cold concrete floor of my garage and install it that way.

Other then that, the install was very easy with great instructions to follow.

I'm a bit nervous about the loctite I put on the 11 screws in the cross member support, it said to do it in the instructions so I did. But I can now see where that might be a big problem down the road if it ever needs to be removed. I might remove them all now and clean them up then put them back in with some anti-sieze on them.

I installed the BB last weekend on my Ultra. Took about 30 minutes on the crossmember due to an upward bow in it. Then took about 40 minutes to finish the install. Super workmanship in the item. It fits great and displaces the stress load through the unit. I could tell a positive change in handling. No more wobble! I would go with the BB, it's worth the money in my opinion.

With regard to Loctite...I believe the 'red' loctite is for permanent placements. The 'Blue' Loctite is what is normally suggested for installations where you may need to remove, replace, or repair in the future, but at the same time, don't want the parts to vibrate loose. Although it is not anti-seize in the true sense of the word, the Blue type of Loctite will help prevent two different types of metals from corroding and forming a bond that will either strip out threads in the aluminum (in this case) or lend to permanent damage that will make the parts usless........this has been my experience as a machinist in my former life.
