330 miles and the engine's already tapping
If you had the dealer install anything, retorque the fastners. Everything my dealer installed came loose at some point. That might be a source of your noise.
It's under warranty so don't be scared to keep riding it until it breaks or becomes obvious what's wrong. Then the dealer will fix it no questions. And as someone else has already said, you wont be wasting their time and yours.
G@@D LUCK ! ! ! !
and never let me down. I sold that bike and bought the current bike 1999 Electra Glide and guess what, same thing, ticking like crazy between about 2000-2500 rpm. Tore it down new cam bearings, oil pump, gear drive cams, lifters, pushrods, and rockers. Now have about 500 on the rebuild and its doing it again. So don't worry about it. Just twist the ears
back on her and ride. My dads 1997 Road King with Screamin Eagle jugs, cam, and just about every part of the engine new except for the cases
does the same thing. Its just there nature. I know that is not what you
want to hear with a new bike, but I don't think you have any problems.
At the 25,000 mark I would replace the cam tensioners or go to gear drive
and keep on ridin. Besides, I enjoy turning wrenches on mine. My metric buddies only get to shine on theirs, and after a while, that gets boring
