Anyone have any idea when the MOCO releases its colors for the next model year? I know it's usually months before the summer dealer meeting, but I'd like that narrowed down if possible. I may be able to sell my bike in a few months..but unless they have the colors I like for 2010, I'm keeping my 08. Thanks.
I've never bought a new bike because of a new a paint option. That's because black is always available. Some colors cost extra. Funny thing is I'd pay more for black. Black paint is a love/hate thing with me. Absolutely nothing shines or contrasts chrome better than black; however, the care it takes to prevent paint swirls sucks.

I have used a bottle of this (1 gallon) on my black Cobra for 5 years now and my paint looks great (amazing actually) everyone comments about the paint and they find it hard to believe that the car is an 01. I don't work for these guy's or have any thing to do with them other than buy that product and I'm glad I just checked b/c I need another gallon and I just saw that it is on sale. I hope the link works if not let me know. Trust me this stuff for me worked great and once you apply it a couple of times it comes off extremely easy.
Thanks for the link. I never heard of this wax, but I'll keep it in mind. That's a great price for a gallon of product.
I use Zaino on my bikes and Vette. It's expensive, but I have not found anything that shines better. Zaino is popular on the show car circuit. I use plain old Turtle Wax on my daily drivers. Show car waxes like Zaino provide excellent shine, but don't last during midwest winters. The protection does not hold up to road salt, snow and automatic car washes.
I believe the dealers get the new model year color info around May. ONLY on bikes that are continued models, not on any new bikes to be announced in July. I've asked salespeople before for the colors, but they look at me like it aint possible. Ask the dealer owner or manager. They have it, sometimes the sales staff is either ignorant of the fact or is trying to get you to buy a current model.
