Ok call me clueless on this if you want. I have read a lot of posts on people talking about them, Kuryakyan Panacea Tail Lights. but I few things that I just do not know about them:
1 - Is the tail light lens on a Street Glide the same as the ones on RK's, UG's, RG's ???
2 - Is the kit from Kuryakyan a plug and play thing, does it just plug into the stock wiring harness ???
3 - This will allow the rear turn signals to work as running lights, and brake lights too ???
4 - This kit comes with either a tinted tail light lens or red lens ???
I like what I have read about how much people seem to like them, and what they do for the extra rear lighting, but I do not want to drop the cash for them if they will not work on my 06 Street Glide.
Please share what you know about them as well if they will work on a Street Glide, and maybe some tips and trick on what you did to install them.
The answer to all your questions is yes. Fifteen minute install (all plug and play). The controller mounts under your seat and just plugs into the wiring harness. The turn signals plug right in the original socket. The taillight unscrews and you replace it with the new one. Your rear turn signals are running lights (red) and flash for turn signals (amber). They can change colors because of the LED's. The brake light and turn signals flash about four times when you hit the brake. You have your choice of colors for brake light and turn signals. I have the red Panacea Deluxe Laydown Taillight with Blue Dot. I have Red Rear Turn Signals and Smoked Front Signals. I love them.
M & M Cycles sells them for 20 or 25% off. Tell them you are with HDForums.com
Thanks Terry, I was hoping that you would jump in here to give some input. Looks like I needs to search and find the best place for a the best deal on them!! Anyone have any favorite places that I can find a good deal on these??
