My Ultra did, but it is pretty basic, added a couple items to it. Congratulations on the new bike coming.

Mine did. Added extras myself...pliers, tyre pressure gauge, plastic tie wraps etc.

What tools do you carry with you on the 09? I want to have what I need if ever needed.

My 13 came with a fold up multi purpose tool kit. sort of looks like an allen set kit with a couple of wrenches on side. Came in pouch. My older electra came with a pouch with a lot of different tools inside I think snap on made it not sure. It was a good kit use it now just added my tire repair kit ,a couple of sockets and ratchet, black tape, tire gauge, wire, and few other goodies. traded in electra kept tool kit.

Think it depends on the day of the week and the finial inspector score. All Monday and Friday bikes get one for sure.

I just took delivery of my wife's new 2013 Road King here in Naples, Italy (thru Military Sales)and when I asked where the toolkit was I was shocked to hear that one did not come with the bike. Being a bit skeptic and since my '08 Street Glide had one, I thought I'd ask all ya'll. What's the scoop? Is HD really cheaping-out that much?

Ask the dealer if you can buy one separately. I'll bet he has a lot of them in stock cuz he removed them from the bikes.

Just out of curiousity, what possessed you to dig around in the annals and dig up a 4 year old+ thread and respond to it like it was current?
Pray tell?

Probably thought if he asked the question in a new thread someone would rag on him for not using the famous search feature.

Ditto, that is what I usually figure happend. Somebody finally does a search and gets onto a thread that actually seems connected to his question. Who really looks at the dates.
