I left my bike on my harbor freight jack for a few weeks while I had the front end off. It was cheap and works great. Id recommend it to anyone.

HF tools are great! Especially the torque wrenchs. More accurate than my craftsmans. Their bike lift table is cool too, thats what I am getting next.

Allens might have been ok. Anything with moving parts, not a chance.

I use almost all Craftsman to include my jack, i dont think it'd be wide to use a jack from HF. You cant forget the old saying that you get what you pay for. i DO use there cheap specialised hand toold=s from time to time though.

The HF and Crapsman lifts are nearly identical except the color. I'll bet they were made in the same place.

I have the Sears yellow jack and I cannot get it to engage the first (lowest) set of notches. That is where I like to use it most of the time.

How do you forget that you hadn't strapped it down? Dude!

I have the HF lift table. Best investment tool wise for my bikes I ever made. My Motto Guzzi has been on it in the air for three weeks now. Did worry about it when the 5.0 earthquake hit last week though. Ran out to the garage and the bikes were all still standing.

Default Straps?

Straps have been mentioned and I believe is a great idea to use. My question is where exactly on the bike are you attaching the straps. I have a Road King classic, are you using the crash bars? I just dont want any marks to be left on the bike from the straps.

thanks as always

Two things you don't want to go cheap route on, motorcycle jacks, and condoms.
