Ride it for a few weeks in all conditions. From there put a stacked ranked list together of upgrades/mods that you and/or you wife want to make. Then get to it.
check out a company called "fastaire" for a new windsheild. Great service and prices and it works well. I dumped the small one for an 8". Still looks good, and protects the face alot more than stock.

+1 on this. I bought the same size as my cold weather shield at a very economical cost. I'm 5"10 with a 1" lower on my bike and it works very well for me. I got the darker gray to go with my black better.
