Default Handheld CB Mic on Ultra!

Anybody use one? I have a couple of buddies who like to use their cb's on trips. This is fine with me in the winter, my headset works fine and is mounted on my 3/4 helmet but in the summer it's way to hot for me to wear a full cover helmet, only wear a skid lid at the most, so don't have the option of mounting the headset on a helmet. Does the handheld mic work OK and would I be able to hear the CB over the pipes as easily as I can hear the CD player?

I use one sometimes as well, I do have problems hearing certain people through the speakers.

By the way, J&M makes a pretty decent shorty helmet setup that I use as well. You can take a look here http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....4-HHU-HO&PF=12

You have to have your speaker switch in the right position all the way down in the front

Deepsouth I just mount the H-D setup upside down on the right side directly to the straps on my half helmet. Works fine so far with mine and the g/f helmets.
